Mr. Cole was born and raised in the Houston, Texas area. In 2019, he founded Falling Marbles Press, along with Mariah Ashe, his daughter, to publish his Catty-Corner Conversations. Mike passed away in late 2024, and selections from his Conversations are now made regularly available at a Substack maintained by his daughter.
