Mr. Bacevich is a former soldier, professor emeritus at Boston University, and author of over a dozen books, such as ‘America’s War for the Greater Middle East: A Military History’ and ‘After the Apocalypse: America’s Role in a World Transformed.’ ‘Ravens on a Wire‘ is his first novel, and ‘Murder in Manila’ [forthcoming] is his second.
